June Wrap up…
Looking for a New Phone? Wait Until Fall!
You might be thinking, "I don't need the latest and greatest," and we understand. However, investing in a newer phone ensures you have a device that will receive proper software and security updates for years to come, ultimately saving you money in the long run.
Stay tuned for updates on the new releases as we get closer to their launch dates! If you need assistance in choosing another piece of technology for your home or business, don't hesitate to call (616) 916-2569 or schedule an appointment to discuss your individualized needs!
Celebrating Our Team Members: Mike D. and Mike F.
We're excited to celebrate two of our field techs who recently had work anniversaries. Mike D. has been with us for three years and has played an invaluable role in the growth of our IT business. Mike F., who celebrated his second year with us, has shown exceptional dedication and skills, significantly impacting the trajectory of RGA Tech Support.
We thank both of these amazing team members for their hard work and commitment. Here's to many more years of collaboration and achievement together! Enjoy some of their finer moments captured on camera below.
The Addition: Cascade's Newest Coworking Space
A new coworking space, The Addition, opened its doors in Cascade last month, and we had the honor of setting up their IT infrastructure throughout the building. What is a coworking space? It's a place for entrepreneurs, startups, small business teams, and remote workers to find community, collaborate, or work independently in a shared environment.
The Addition offers private offices, dedicated desks, and shared open desks available to members. Plus, it has conference rooms, private phone booths, a podcast and green studio, 24/7 access, and more!
Check them out or pop in for a $10 drop-in Tuesday happening all summer long! Take a look at the before and after pictures from a project we did for The Addition.
How to Send Confidential Emails
Need to send a password or sensitive information? Use confidential mode! When an email is sent in confidential mode, it can't be forwarded, copied, printed, or downloaded. You can also set the email to expire or revoke access at any time.
Learn how to create a confidential email in Gmail. Learn how to change the sensitivity level of an email in Outlook.
While we're on the topic of email and safety, Comcast Xfinity has had several data breaches recently where contact information, birth dates, names, and partial social security numbers were leaked. If you have a Comcast email address, we highly suggest migrating away from this email platform to protect your data online.
Need help finding the right email platform for you? We'd be happy to help.
